Brief=Still tormented by the past's uncomfortable memories, decades after surviving the harsh winter at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining (1980), it's only natural that a now-sad Dan Torrance has grown up into an alcoholic and a drifter. However, after managing for years to suppress his rare gift, Dan decides to put "The Shining" to good use as the local hospice's benevolent "Doctor Sleep"; and before he knows it, he makes contact with Abra Stone: a young girl with far more superior shining abilities. But, their strong telepathic bond attracts the attention of the semi-eternal psychic vampire, Rose the Hat, and her marauding gang of followers known as "The True Knot", who prey on the innocent, and feed off the effervescent essence of pain. Now, once more, the restless and famished spirits of Colorado's snow-capped purgatory in the mountains invite Dan over for one last winter. Does Danny dare to return to Room 237?

There are countless analysis videos on The Shining on Youtube, But you are the only one to hit the nail on he head. I'm sure this is exactly what Kubrick intended. You always have to figure it out yourself, like in 2001. This is why Kubrick is the greatest director of all time bar none. 5:35 - 5:45 Me when my game loads. Room 237: from intriguing to sexy to shocking to horrifying. Now that's horror done right. Ewan mcgregor is a one dimensional actor. Every character exactly the same Zzzzzzzz. I'm in love with that place. When obi wan had the high ground on the stairs holding the axe I wanted him to say to Rose ‘hello there. I love how the trailer music and the cinematography work together. It's really just trying to say, Yeah, we're the shit, and we both know it. See you in November.
Who had goosebumps to see the kid riding tricycle, not knowing it's a the sequel. Ahh, Now I remember why I had a huge crush on Ewan McGregor in 1997 when A Lifeless Ordinary came out. I even had a life-size cardboard cut out of him as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars 💫. Damn hes still got it. Those twins really freaked me out. and fete 39 years still freaking out. What about all those other winters (not the Torrence or Grady winters) when apparently nothing happened at all. If Mike flanagan's the director, you know it's gonna be good good. 0:49 obi still has the high ground. I find it pretty ironic that The Overlook spirits are a worse threat than Rose, even how at the end Danny Torrance has to face his own demons and close the circle that haunted him for years.
Well. was soooooo looking forward to this. I LOVE King. Most of the acting is good. Some is horrid, even laughable. which, I did. I nearly left midway. to was that bad. Please do not say: you didn't "get it. There is really nothing to get. IMHO, a waste of Kings talent. and a waste of my time and money. It is just bad.
